By collecting items for shoeboxes, we are providing a tangible gift to children around the world and supporting local churches worldwide in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the children.
Collection box: Each month we collect a different category of items for packing in the shoeboxes which will be sent on their journey in November.
It was exciting to hear that our shoeboxes went to Liberia and Ghana this past year. I will provide more info on the children in this country in next month’s newsletter. Let’s continue to help share the Gospel of Jesus’s love to children around the world.
Collections for February:
Accessories: Sunglasses, Hair Accessories, Hair Brushes, Watches (solar), Bead Necklaces, Bracelets, Flashlights (preferably wind up or with extra batteries), etc.

Remember they all have to fit in a standard size shoebox. As always, you can drop off any items in the OCC collection box, even if it is not our ‘special’ request of the month.
