This week’s Missions (for Saturday 6/21) …. Past Missions
- Can you name the vendor who has participated the LONGEST at NC Farmers Market?
- Name a vendor selling flowers or plants.
- Write a short poem that celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the North Chili UMC Farmers Market.
Participants accomplish missions and receive 1 point for each mission accomplished. Duplicate accomplished mission submissions will be discarded. That is, you can only receive 1 point per mission. There will be 3 missions published each week. Missions do not expire, and past missions can be done anytime (just no duplication). Total of 51 missions will be made available (for the 17 weeks of the hunt).
Submission of completed Missions can be done in 2 ways:
1) Via email to NCFMHunt@gmail.com.
2) A physical copy of completed missions can be placed in the Scavenger Hunt Milk can (drop box) at the Farmers Market on any Saturday. Participant email and/or phone number must be on each entry to be valid. Note: Duplicate submission of the same mission by the same identifier (email or phone number) will be discarded.
Winning: At the Final Celebration (Sat, Oct 11th), the top 3-point earners are the winners. Each winner will receive a basket (or bag) of donated goodies. Winners do not need to be present to win. Winners will be contacted via email or phone number (whatever information was provided on the entry). Participants are required to pick up their winnings from the church within 1 week of notification (as perishable items cannot be kept any longer).
Possible Basket Contents: vendor discount coupons (expiring 12/31/2026), pancake breakfast tickets (expiring 12/31/2026), Sept/Oct seasonal market produce (ex. Apples, peaches, zucchini, onions, flowers), 50th Farmers Market themed merchandise (ex. Coasters, trivet), farm and/or produce-themed items (ex decorative watering can, vegetable/flower seeds), etc.
